Hundreds of Thursdays. Thousands of conversations. Real founders. Real voters. ABC is not a brand. It is the people who have shown up since 2022, and the ones still walking in the door.
A 25-year career in software development, from web1 to web2 to web3. Marlon discovered Bitcoin in the summer of 2009 and has been crypto-native ever since. He went on to co-found Telos blockchain, served as chair of inspector general for WAX blockchain, and built Starter Labs in DeFi summer 2020. By 2022, Starter Labs had raised $45M+ for 60+ projects and, at its height, was ranked the #1 IDO launchpad by ROI.
During the pandemic, Marlon moved from Miami to Atlanta. In 2022 he founded the Atlanta Blockchain Center, which began as the nation's first physical crypto-only coworking and incubator space. He's a proud Morehouse graduate with a degree in Business Administration, Cum Laude.
A formative chapter shaped what ABC became. In his anonymous era, building relationships in Satoshi's pseudonymous spirit, Marlon befriended a developer, slowly handed him more and more work, and watched him rise to CTO. By March 2022 it collapsed: a series of hacks totaling more than $1.1M. In June 2025 the FBI revealed he was Kim Kwang Jin, a North Korean spy funneling the stolen funds to the regime. The Wall Street Journal documented the arc. The lesson became infrastructure: verified relationships, real-world legitimacy, community-first operating.
In 2026, ABC moved into Atlanta's vibrant West End, closer to where the city's future gets decided. Four years in, the best chapter's the next one.
Different roads in. Same room. Load-bearing on what ABC is and what ABC 2.0 becomes.

Twelve years a mortgage broker. Then he found crypto. Dan has been with Marlon since day 0, when ATL Jeep Life crypto meetups were the gut-check on whether Atlanta would show up for a community like this. The early crew was small. They took the leap of faith and built ABC anyway. He led the design and renovation of the first ABC building in Buckhead: secured February 2022, months of buildout, doors open June 2022. Mortgage broker turned blockchain savant and stock trader.

Tia joined ABC in the later years and hit the ground running: contributing to the community selflessly, then getting accepted into the Immutable Founders Incubator with an idea for DocuHero. She won the 3rd annual $25K PitchFest, launched the DocuHero beta four months later, and got the platform certified by the Ohio Department of Medicaid after rigorous testing. She was then tapped as President of Stand With Crypto Georgia for her steadfast, honest leadership.
The room runs on their hustle. Creative activations. Newsroom coverage. Atlanta industry on the record.

Every single week alongside Marlon and Dan, Joe designs the creative activations and curates the lineup. Through Skylark he has produced 361 activations across Atlanta and beyond, and he's why Marlon doesn't host every Thursday himself.

Terron is the room's newsroom: national, international, and Atlanta industry coverage on his beat. Host of the TCK Web3 Podcast, 118 weeks straight, documenting the space episode after episode. Dedication to the space, on the record.
Founders. Builders. Regulars. The names who showed up week after week and turned a coworking space into a movement.

And the next member walking in the door this Thursday. The list grows.
